It's claimed the wallet can hold up to 14 cards. Is this true? Does the quick access feature still work or does it jam up the wallet? 14 cards seems like a lot for what this seems to be.
I am bombastic about my travel pack. But its developed a tear on the shoulder strap where it meets the bag. Put in a warranty claim. Its been a week, no response since the confirmation email. I don't think its unreasonable to get a response in 2-3 days given the price of the bag I bought.
I'm in the same boat.
I really only carry my current wallet if I'm driving bc I can pay for just about everything with my phone.
So I think this will work well.
I really just need my DL and about 4 other cards.
I like the minimalist design.
But I need my physical card at Costco since they make you scan them now at the entrance.

I did the 20L travel pack last month when it went on sale for this price. I've wanted a "nicer" bag to replace a backpack for work/personal travel, so the $150-ish price felt okay for a lifetime warranty.
I took it on my first trip last week. The downside is that it starts off a bit heavy, so fully packed with clothes and a laptop and extra stuff is decently heavy, so I used the chest strap from time to time. I also bought the waist straps on clearance to try but didn't use them.
It wasn't a life changing experience like maybe I hoped for, but I did enjoy it. Nice to have a bag that stands up by itself well, laptop sleeve is raised off the bottom a few inches, opening the whole main pouch and folding down, lots of little pouches and things. I would probably be dissapointed if I paid like $400 or something like most of their products, but I'm going to keep it at this price.
Avoid. Elastic stretches and doesnt go back if you decide to remove a few cards. Best bet is to try to go digital and get a magsafe holder for your ID, credit/atm card, and magnum dong condom

Tried the 20l travel pack last month. Just the bag by itself is 4.2 pounds. With laptop and my stuff even everyday carry was like 10 pounds. Ordered 14l Laptop bag which is at 3 pounds. Lets see how this goes.
Bought one of these wallets in 2018 for about the same price and it is a very nice, pretty roomy, minimalist wallet. Carries everything I need without making a big lump in my pocket. There's nothing wrong with my original, but I might grab one of these as a spare. I could maybe see some issues if you downsize after having cards in it for a while, but my "loadout" hasn't ever changed, so I never noticed any sort of stretching.
I have one just like this from now a defunct etsy store. (maybe they got sued?) They're the absolute best minimalist wallets. If you don't carry cash, or carry your cash separate it's the best. super low profiles and sits great in a front pocket

You can use the QR code from the Costco app for the scanning.
I'm going against the popular opinion here but I don't like the wallet. I've had it now for about 1 year. It works perfectly fine it just feels like I'm pulling out a cheap kids wallet. I don't wear fancy clothes or shoes but this wallet I quickly stuff back in my pocket because it looks childish to me.
Download the Costco app so you can use the QR code in your phone for the gas pump as well as the store entrance - no need for a physical card.
I had one occurrence at the gas pump where the QR reader didn't work and I had to circle the gas station line again. Always good to have the card as a backup.

No need for a physical card; scan the QR code in the app just like at checkout.
