Got this one for my son, and he loves/ hates it. You have to be very consistent with how hard you got the launcher. Otherwise, the cars won't make it around the track.

Unfortunately I found all hot wheels tracks to be like this. We have had several over the years and also the mega garages.

These play sets are so intolerant. They make my kids not want to play with them. Half the time the cars wreck or don't complete the circuit. Kind of a waste.

The best hot wheels purchase for my family was hundreds of feet of straight track that we run down the hill outside.

I have a few of the recent sets and the cars struggle to make it through all of them. Plus the parts don't integrate with regular track so if one connector breaks the whole thing becomes useless. IMO you'd be better off just buying $20 worth of the regular track+connectors

Something like this, and a turns/curves pack (amazon is currently sold out but they were $9 before).
