Just a heads up that a pack of 4 for the same model (EP10) are also going for $18.99 on Amazon. That's $4.75/unit vs. $5.50/unit for the 2-pack.

True. But these aren't part of the 20% chase Amazon cash back. So if you pay with chase Amazon, it's cheaper than the 4 pack. I didn't calculate cuz math is hard and I'm lazy. Buts the 2 pack is definitely cheaper with cash back.

Is this the model that allows you to see powe consumption?
These do support energy monitoring, are HomeKit compatible, and are $14.99 for two (EP25P2) - 20% for using Prime card

Or, Matter compatible two pack for $19.54 (KP125M) - 25% for using Prime card

These stopped being supported by smart things if that matters to you
I can't find any details on them not being supported, only this:

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3158/

Can you please point me in the right direction? I would be curious as I use Smartthings.

Thanks!

Does not work with eero. I can never get them to connect no matter what advanced options I choose
They absolutely work on Eero, as we have eeros in our home and they work just fine for our instant hot water heater. My guess is that you have setup your eeros to ONLY broadcast 5ghz wifi. If you have them setup that way, that is why these wont work for you, as these only work in 2.4ghz wifi.

Setup your eeros to broadcast in 2.4 and 5.8 and they should work without issues.

Hope this helps!

I'm currently using Wyze plugs with Wyze switches. Wyze offers double and triple pressing and press-and-hold of the switch to activate macros (for a lack of better words). I typically use double tap to turn on a plug and press-and-hold to turn it off. Does TP-Link offer anything like that?

I hate how Wyze needs constant connection to their server for their devices. If my internet goes out, Wyze's Amazon service connection goes out, or the server is under maintenance, the switch's indicator lights blink incessantly.

While this is a good deal for these, and I want to love the, after owning 10+ of them (and many other Kasa products) there are just too many issues that TP-Link has not addressed. These plugs have bricked themselves (4/10 of the units I've owned) and Kasa basically says "tough luck" when they can't resolve it. All the other issues I've had with disconnection, mesh router connectivity issues, what happens after a power outage, etc. just start to add up. Granted, other brands have similar issues, but I've had much better luck with the HBN Smart products (but they are probably stealing my data).Buyer beware, there's a decent chance these plugs will stop working for you, nearly 50% of the time, in about one year. Good luck.
I have 4 of these, 3 inside and 1 outside dual plug version and they have worked well for the past couple of years so it might be your luck or mine

Hi. It was supported til after last major app update, then these disappeared from Samsung's supported devices. If you open ST then you will see these no longer show up as a supported device.

The ones I added in the past still works somehow but I failed to add new ones into ST. I figured it's just because they're not supported and ST unlinked with TP-Link.

Edit: you may be correct - I'll try to link again when I get home.

I think these only work on 2.4ghz so make sure you are broadcasting it over WiFi.
I can confirm this - if you use any kind of mesh that likely defaults to 5ghz, you'll need to set up a 2nd virtual network (pretty easy with most routers/apps) to get a reliable connection to Kasa products. I did this with T-Mobile Home Internet to resolve setup & connection issues.

False, the 4-pack is also part of the 20% off deal, see link below:

I've got 6 of them running on my Eero network right now. Maybe this will help: https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us...-frequency

I have 8 of these, 2 outdoor dual plugs, 19 Kasa light switches, and one Kasa light strip. Out of all those, only one plug has gone offline and that's cause my kid unplugged it and doesn't know where he put it. Lol. I want to move to the matter version but these haven't died so I can't yet...
