I got this and jt feels slow af. So used to an ipad, this feels like a downgrade.
Eh. Whatevah.
Folks advising that 8gb RAM is a silver bullet, mislead. This 4gb model is plenty for anyone not "multitasking" (e.g., normies 99%) and playing aggressive games (e.g., normies 99%).
For me the deal required not just logging in but clicking "Get exclusive, extra savings with...." drop down. No biggie but confused me at first why my military discount wasn't applying.
Note, all the $119 models appear to be a little back ordered. Soonest delivering Dec 30, other two models Jan 6. Good deal though!
Seems like a good deal at $120 would this be good enough for just videos that runs smooth?
yes, it has a snapdragon 695 which is as low as I would want to go. Just keep tabs closed when not in use.
I personally prefer a Chinese tablet that sports a G99 or Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. With 8GB and 128GB. But it is about $30 more money.

4GB is NOT ENOUGH if you want the tablet to last you years. I like a smooth experience.
Most people don't close tabs all the time.
Did you know you can run Windows 10 with 4GB of RAM... but I would not recommend it.

Could you help me find the exclusive savings button? I'm still getting $149 as my price.
Also make sure you are logged in (the page seems to log you off every time you exit), have your credentials verified (for me it is military) and I also used the direct link of "https://www.samsung.com/us/tablets/galaxy-tab-a9-plus/buy/galaxy-tab-a9-plus-64gb-graphite-wi-fi-sm-x210nzaaxar" because the extra long address Slick Deals added seem to not make it work either.
The "Galaxy Tab A9+ | 8GB (RAM) + 128GB" at $159 also seems like a great deal.
FWIW I didn't end up buying, I am traveling next week and wanted a new tablet before then but these all appear to deliver in the middle or near the end of my trip

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, it still comes up as $149. I've tried both versions of my work email and it doesn't seem to change anything. I'll still probably end up buying it.

That sucks! Try chatting with them, normally Samsung's (and Lenovo too) will provide you a special quoted price. I've had them do that when I wanted a config or slightly different option that wasn't on sale.
