I guess they're thinking "if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Whatever we're doing is working with this guy!" That's something I've slowly realized with time. Companies don't reward their loyal members. You gotta be like a player dating multiple partners who are all trying to lock it down with you. :|

Not sure that cheapskate player approach works either. Cause my total spending from them for the past 8 years comes to $235. And all I got back in July was a $5 appreciation bonus reward.

BBY sucks, the last time they cancelled my order and didn't give me back the cert. Worst part is they didn't give me a reason and they were still selling the item I bought. They just didn't want me to apply the 10 off the item.

I've been off the Best Buy loyalty wagon for a few years, since they re-designed the rewards program from the old "spend" threshold to the new paid subs. That said, I still get a lot of their emails about sales including this free $10 cert.

I still buy a few items a year from them because I am in the minorty who gets rewards from the credit card I used to use so much more on Blu-rays, gamers club unlocked memberships, etc.

And do you know what I never get for this loyalty? ANY OF THESE FREE REWARD CERTIFICATES. I guess I'm the 🤡.
