I've been looking for a deal on both of these to replace my existing corded models. Very tempting, but the timing isn't great with the chunk I just spent on Christmas.
Straight from the description at the link provided:
Delivers up to 675 cuts in 3 1/4 in. MDF Base Molding & 255 cuts in pressure treated 4 in. x 4 in. Lumber
Thank you, yes. I was just hoping for an opinion who has used it. I have found description does not always match reality. Appreciate you pointing that out though.

I think it is a good deal if you need both, considering the sales going on right now this season. I have the 60v table saw already. I wish I had the 60v miter.
You'll need another nine amp hour flex volt battery preferably to run the miter saw and 120 volts on battery only.
wtf are you talking about? this model uses 1 battery. there is no place on this saw to plug in a second battery.
the miter saws that used dual flexvolt batteries with 120V motors WERE marketed as "120V MAX", like the DHS790. and the reason i say "WERE marketed" is because dewalt killed that entire product line because it was trash. you can't get them anymore. whatever was left was pulled from the shelves long ago. "120V MAX" tools have been replaced by the new "powershift" line with completely different batteries

Is one 9a battery enough for a days worth of carpentry?
only you can determine how many batteries you need. if you're looking for flexvolt batteries, murdoch's has the 12ah units on sale for $150 a pop. https://www.murdochs.com/products...ry-dcb612/

I used the 60v miter to cut Trex deck boards - the bigger 9ah batteries last almost a full day but the 6ah batteries burn through pretty quickly. I imagine the table saw eats batteries pretty fast but I haven't used it.
I picked up the miter saw (tool only) for $355 last year and I love it

Why wouldn't the 6ah battery last two thirds as long as the 9ah, is there something special about the way in which power is delivered that handicaps the smaller one?
Not that it's really a 9ah battery anyways. A 9ah 60v battery would be a monster. At 60v, the battery that comes with this deal is 3ah.
