The main difference is brightness. The B and C series have the same incredible picture quality, but brightness is a lot different. What type of TV would you be coming from? Most regular LED TVs are only 250-400 nits (nits are the unit of measurement for brightness). QLEDs are usually in the 700 range, unless you get a higher-end one. Mini LED can get up to around 1,500-2,000 (I think). If you're coming from a regular LED, the B series will still be way brighter. The B3 and B4 are in the 650 nit range. The C4 is a little over 1,000.

One other thing is the C series has a better processor. That doesn't always make a noticeable difference, but there is a picture setting on the C and G series that the B doesn't have. For Dolby Vision content, if you put the TV on "Cinema Home" there's an option called "Precision Detail." It enhances dark scenes noticeably. That's not something that can be updated with software, since it requires the better processor. Though, to be honest, I can't find info on if they have put the better processor into the B4 that allows that feature. Most people don't know about Precision Detail, because it's only on the "Cinema Home" and "Vivid" picture presets (don't ever use Vivid, it massively oversaturates the colors). Even rtings (the top audio/video review site) hasn't mentioned Precision Detail in any reviews I've read.

Now that I've said all that, to actually give you a yes or no answer, yes, you would still benefit from a B3 or B4 since you haven't had OLED. Regardless of the brightness difference (they're still plenty bright), they have amazing picture quality. The only issue you would have is if you make the mistake of going and looking at a C4 later, and then wishing you had gotten that. As long as you don't do that, the B series is worth it.

Unless specified that it is covered, burn in is pretty much never covered. However, burn in is not a real issue anymore. It hasn't been for about 5 or 6 years. Yes, it can still happen, but every product in existence has flawed units. You pretty much have to try to get burn in these days, otherwise it comes down to just getting a bad panel. I have a 2-year-old C2 that has thousands of hours on it and not a spec of burn in. I even leave the TV on static images often when I'm not in the room. These have so many safety features now and the tech has come a long way. They've even done tests where these TVs have been left on for an entire year and had no signs of burn in. A friend of mine has a 2018 C9 that he was trying to get burn in on before his 5 year warranty was up, and his still doesn't have it.

Cheap LCD from Hisense (A6 or U6) or TCL (4 or 5 series) should be fine for that.

Walmart cancelled my order after about 2 hours of order placement. I called Beach Camera and was told B3 was sold out today. But they offered me 65" B4 2024 model at $999, so I took it. Estimated delivery date is Jan 2nd.
Be mindful they have FedEx as their delivery provider. They absolutely F sucks. Delivery delayed in the PA for 4 days now. Last time FedEx delayed on me is they took 30 days to deliver a Christmas present that I ordered in mid Nov last year.
