Most likely they will charge you extra for parts like the face plate to match your car and harness and all this other stuff. You can buy it yourself cheaper online but then they said they will not guarantee the install anymore. The stuff they make you buy usually cost more than what you can buy straight off amazon. Expect to pay at least $50 more from this price for the parts needed

This thing is a genuine pain in the ass to use, seems like every road trip I make the wired Carplay drops out and the entire unit crashes with a black screen for 5-10 minutes. New cables don't help, it just sucks

This is a very easy DIY, crutchfield has some great resources and will even tell you what adapters you will need for your car.

The only bummer is that additional stuff needed for installing this may end up costing similar or even higher if you get the iDatalink RR module which in of itself is like 160 new

I remember paying over $1,500 bucks for a pioneer flip screen back in the '90s when they first came out, lasted me over 7 years. Back then they were made in Japan, I don't know about now.

it does come with free install from best buy though..
specific parts are extra but they will install it free​

It already does come with installation. Tipping is a wholly different matter than pricing from a big B&M store. Some products and services are worth different amounts of money to different people.

The appropriate analogy would be yelling at someone because "you don't want to pay $60 for a haircut" or "$30 for a pizza".

Ahh, yeah, thanks for correcting me, distracted while typing my reply. I meant parts, but it's all under the umbrella of out-the-door cost. Deal is damn good already, asking for more on such a (relatively) inexpensive product that requires labor seems cheap to me. Maybe I'm just being overly snarky on Hump Day morning.
