Long story short, my wife needed a flashlight for work.

She had never done this sort of work before and frankly didn't know exactly how she'd be using it.

We ended up "shotgunning" it with one of these (gold WK03 - same price but shipped from China so 2 weeks for delivery), a TD05, and a Sofirn SC33.

While the WK03 is the smallest of the 3 and certainly sufficiently bright for her needs (aka completely adequate in every way) she's decided the tactical switches (tail) are a must for her, so this one isn't used - by her at work anyway.

That's not an indictment at all. It's still a great light as it sits at home and we use it for… whatever. It just hangs out on its magnetic base and when we need it, it's there.

Plus, the color makes it sorta stand out more so when one of the kids inadvertently leaves it lying around, it seems really easy to spot.

Every time I see "Everyday carry" I immediately picture a person with a minimum of four compact flashlights, three knives and multiple ripcords on their way to their office job.

We have an office in an older building in downtown San Francisco. I had to go in once because the power was out. Got there, middle of the day, summer time, bright as hell outside. Got into front door, lobby was dark but manageable, opened door to stairwell and holy hell, pitch black. Not a single emergency light in there. That was the last time having a flashlight was the difference between go/no go for me. In short, not often, but depending on your type of work it's the difference between job done and "f this, I quit"

The 519A LED is a very nice one. The page doesn't say what color temperature it has, but looking at the pics, it looks to be 5700K

I would highly recommend turning on the lockout mode with this flashlight. It always turns on in my pocket and gets so hot that one time I could smell it burning the fabric

I've always cracked up at the idea of carrying a flashlight... every day. Like what kind of job do you have?! Are flashlights oriented towards these people? I have so many questions that I dont need answered.

Hi, I'm a paid shill and this flashlight is amazing! I don't actually have one, but it is so bright! They also sell a different model that is a tactical flashlight in case you need to do tactics!

Sweet deal! In for one.

For those struggling - clip the 30% coupon code, then go into checkout but before checking out hit "use vouchers and codes" and enter the code. If you don't click the arrow by the code it won't apply it. Click that arrow the hit continue and it will apply the additional $10 off… this is a sweet deal for ~$19! I've reversed a decent high-powered flashlight, bonus points for being USB-C recharging.
