There's a reason this paddle is on such a steep discount. Reviews are almost exclusively negative. Terrible spin and sweet spot. Old paddle tech and spray on grit in almost 2025 is no bueno. You can get a neonic flow for roughly the same price and it will perform way better. Plenty of other $100ish options out there as well.

Hyperion is more a control & spin paddle.

Paddles are more a personal feel/comfort preference especially at higher levels.
There is no universal best paddle.

No. The next Olympics is 2028 and they already confirmed they are not in... The earliest would be 2032, and even then, it's possible we won't see it included due to the lack of an international body... If the USA entities can't even align, I doubt we get an international one anytime soon... Not to mention padel is gaining more worldwide recognition than pickleball is.

Great deal for this paddle. I paid $222 for it when it first came out, and while I don't know if it's worth that, I would definitely pick one up for $100.

Joola Gen3 brand new, no breakin was my favorite. Glad I got to return it for free, but miss my first 2-3 weeks with it. Such control, spin, and power when swung fast. Collins version. Still looking for something similar.
