Probably on clearance for a reason maybe... Galvanized steel is not considered food-safe by the USDA, particularly for acidic foods.

Food is not in contact with Galvanized steel. It is coated which is clearly visible in the photo.

Just returned this. I hand washed it, like the instructions indicated, and it leaked rusty water all over my counters. Water gets in the rim/lip and causes rust
