About this Item:
  • Panchroma Cope is a new experimental product that is not PLA - it is CoPE. It prints with very similar settings as PLA but can achieve better overhangs at faster speeds.
  • That said - it does not stick to PLA very well and therefore should not be combined with other Panchroma PLA Products in a single print. It also sticks very well to textured PEI plates, therefore we only recommend using Panchroma CoPE with a textured PEI plate if used with Magigoo Original.

Probably the most important question...here's the MSDS:

Pretty vague--"ensure adequate ventilation", and "use personal protective equipment" and "evacuate personnel to safe areas"

And all the Toxicological information is "not available" or "not classified".

Not enough information there to even hazard a guess...so it's a hard "no" for me.

Is yours the Frostbite? I just got the Cyrogrip Frostbite and love it. However, It does stick much better than the Bambu textured plate. If this CoPE filament sticks very well, combined with the Frostbite (if that's the Cyrogrip you are referring to), it may be a real pain to get it off the plate. I'd lean to using this on a smoother plate.

Wrong, when PVA is heated it improves bed adhesion, even on textured PEI. When cooled, it acts as a release agent. It's also water soluble.

Hmmm... who to believe here lol
It says to use Magigoo Original which is an adhesive that you put on the build plate. You use adhesive like glue stick, Magigoo or hairspray, so your print doesn't fuse with the build plate.

Looks like a great deal, but they are cardboard spools which Bambu recommends not using in the AMS. I know you can respool it yourself but the re-spooler I printed is crap; I really need to find a good one to print.

Just keep it tight and make sure the ends of the tape overlap so it doesn't come apart mid-print. Works well in my AMS
