The torrent is bottom barrel. Overpriced for what it is. Not worth more than $70.

No. I tried a pair of Torrents in 2020/21 and it was nothing special. The upper was not comfortable and the tongue was thin and short and dug into the front of my ankles .It's on par with shoes like the Saucony Peregrine and Asics Fuji Light. But those shoe models are better executed and often discount for $70 or less.

I've been seeing this particular torrent line often cheaper than the other trail runner models from this company. I personally have challenger atr and really like it but the sole is coming apart after a few seasons mainly hiking rocks. Needing a new pair with a really wide heel base cushion and avoiding these with the reviews
