it's 2024, that makes no sense for an ordinary desktop to choose the mouse, keyboard, and monitor to you. I can choose those for myself, please deduct the cost of those from my computer.

Good way to get the student discount while supporting a local chain store.

Not really, the real difference between this and that M2 is that this has double the ram (16gb).

The computer is designed for productivity work like documenting, web browsing, or video editing. It's not suitable for gaming. It will require some technical effort to make it works, and it won't be a great experience.
What technical effort, exactly? I've played a few handfuls of games on my M1 mini so im wondering what technical effort I missed.

I'm not familiar with Macs, can this thing run games like Cyberpunk or Battlefield?
I can't tell if you are trolling or not. In the off chance you have been in a cave for the last. 25 years and have missed everything Apple, I'll play along. If you want to play AAA games like that, get a windows machine. Mac's are good for a lot of things but hard-core gaming is not one of them.

I bought one as my first Mac ever and I feel ashamed because I use it as an Apple TV. But to my credit, I can block ads on Brave but not with TVos apps.
Where can I find a step by step instruction on how to do this?

Adguard home running on my router is taking care of the ads blocking for me.

Really want to get one. Sucks that I can't run three monitors with this chip set. I have to go with the M4 Pro. Which is double the price. Any other way to get three monitors running without issues with this Mac Mini M4?

Apple indicates the base M4 can support 3 displays:

https://www.apple.com/mac-mini/specs/
Display Support
M4
Simultaneously supports up to three displays:
  • Up to three displays: Two displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 5K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt or 4K resolution at 60Hz over HDMI
  • Up to two displays: One display with up to 5K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K resolution at 240Hz over Thunderbolt or HDMI
...
What I make of that is that the number of displays you can run depends on the resolution and refresh rate that you want to use.

Not video editing the GPU is too weak. I tested the pro version and it's total trash compare to a gaming pc running 4080.
As it should be paying $1000 for GPU only vs $500 for the entire Mac.

Best Buy price matched for me, so thanks very much for posting! They wouldn't match Amazon before because it was a coupon that you needed Prime to access. I wanted it from Best Buy because of my free Apple Card as a total member.
