I just bought the Gretsch G2655T Streamliner in coral that is currently on sale. It's my first Gretsch guitar. If I like playing a Gretsch I may be looking to buy another.

May I ask why you're holding out for that particular model?

I like that g5422 has a slightly thinner body, which feels more comfortable to play and reduces feedback during higher-gain situations. While the G5420T has a warmer, slightly more resonant tone due to its thicker body, I find the G5422T's tone a bit more focused and versatile for my style of playing. Plus, I love the aesthetics of the double-cut design—it just feels more modern and sleek to me.
