In this case I did feel this game was priced too high at $60 when it came out. $30 is much better.

Even games like Mario Kart 8, there are probably 10 people who bought a Wii U. The console sold terribly and most people never got to experience Wii U games so it makes sense to port them over to the Switch (Wii U sold 13M units, Switch sold nearly 150M so it gives 150M new customers a chance to play Wii U games).
