The 1440p 180 hz G2725D is also $150 on the same site, seems much better also ips.

People need to stop acting like 1440p is strictly better. It's not. 1440p and 1080p monitors serve entirely different groups. You lose a ton of frames by going to 1440p. It's not a free visual quality upgrade- it costs you on frame rate. That could be the difference between locked 60 or not. Locked 120 or not, etc.

If someone wanted a 1440p monitor they should have never visited this link to begin with.

Sure I agree its preference and use case, but for the same price and for someone casual without much opinion that qhd one is better value... someone looking for fhd should just get a different 240hz 1080p monitor for less then either of these. A monitor of this original post specs should be much much cheaper for nowadays thats why its downvoted.

Also its not just rez better on the qhd one, higher refresh, ips panel, higher brightness, and potentially lower response time too.
