This is a legit slick deal if you like space combat games that have an arcade combat feel, like the old Freelancer games. I was pleasantly surprised by it, and it's definitely worth a buck.

I've started playing this game a few different times but never for very long.

Is there actually an end to the game or is it just infinitely progressing with increasing difficulties until you're dead? ("Yes" or "No" is fine, no spoilers plz)

This is a FANTASTIC game. I loved Freespace 1 and 2 when i was a kid. This fills that rare niche of top notch space simulators. It was also my first rogue-like. It was fantastic. Story and animations leave a lot to be desired but it's totally worth it for the combat.

Everspace 2 is amazing as well and leaves the rogue-like for more open world gameplay.

I actually liked the first game way better than the second game. The roguelike elements were perfect for a space combat game, imo.

Yes but then you have to use GOG launcher which is crapware.

Just use Steam and Epic
