I have one of these, and it's OK for what it is. At this price, it's a pretty good deal. It doesn't offer energy monitoring or Matter compatibility, and there are only 3 plugs, but if you have 3 devices together that you want to independently control, this will do the trick.

I use mine in our rental apartment to be able to power cycle the router, TV, or Google TV streaming device in case they get locked up and I'm not home. It's connected to my main house WiFi (If you turn off the wireless router you're connected to, you can't turn it back on remotely).

Honestly, I think this device is too limited to be very useful except in narrow circumstances. I would recommend getting individual smart plugs with energy monitoring and Matter support that you can put anywhere you want, or if you need a smart power strip, get the 6-outlet Kasa HS303, which comes with energy monitoring.

I'm getting one for my fish tank. Being able to independently turn off the filter, CO2, and light all in one is perfect. I currently have 3 smart plugs plugged into a 12 outlet power strip and its a waste of an entire power strip (due to spacing).

I'm glad you found a use for this. As I said, it's a good deal for what it is.

My point is that what it is is pretty limited, and I found after getting one and putting it to use, that I wanted more plugs in a power strip, and that I wanted more features in my plugs. I have Sense monitoring at home, so for devices that use a significant amount of energy while on, it is useful to be able to track that.

Where I originally used this, I now use an HS303, and I have lots of other individual smart plugs around the house. Again, there are situations where 3 non-monitoring smart plugs together makes sense, but inevitably I've then wanted energy monitoring, more plugs, or to move the plugs elsewhere. I did find a use for this power strip, but I won't be getting it again because other devices offer greater capacity, features, and/or flexibility that I found I want.

That has been my experience, and I thought it worth sharing. It's worth considering whether in the long term it will continue to fit your needs.

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

The whole point of getting a power strip is for situations where you need multiple devices to share one outlet. So getting individual smart plugs doesn't apply. Most plugs are duplex, and even then it is hard to find two smart plugs that will fit together. But almost never more than two.

If you need to control more than three devices you can get the HS300 (not HS303) but it is $69 so you could get five of these strips for almost the same price. I have plugs with energy monitoring but I've never used the feature, and I don't need Matter. So for me, the HS303 would be an awful deal.

The point is, don't generalize, not everyone has the same needs as you do, especially at a much higher cost. But if there is a better deal for this or a similar item, please share it for the people who want it.

Glad these finally had a decent sale. Will be nice to replace the strip I use for the Christmas tree with individual outlets on it. Also my display cases with lights. These definitely have a niche they can serve well, especially if you have a pretty automated smart home.

So let me ask you. If you use this to power cycle your router. Because I have some tp link smart plugs, how do you turn the system back on? Because that would be impossible if your router got turned off you wouldn't have an internet connection for the smart plugs anymore.

I don't see the get 25% back when I use my prime card.

EDIT: Nvm, I see the "additional rewards" at the bottom. it doesn't automatically apply to the total

The highlighted/title price should mention it applies only with "Prime Card"

I have one of these (but the version that supports Apple Homekit). It has been pretty reliable overall. It has only "forgotten" my home network and needed to be resynced twice in the first 7 months. I use it to remotely turn on and off my Bambu labs 3d printer which is nice. If i decide I want to print from my desk I can flick that on and print without getting up (since its in another room)

Edit: I said only twice in 7 months because I did previously buy another (can't remember) brand on amazon that would disconnect and need to be setup again like every 8-10 days and that got super annoying - basically made it worthless.

It does, but it's so long of a title it's cut off.

To me, the USB A ports kills the deal. USB C would be a deal for sure.
