The GOG version of Silent Assassin is less buggy. The Steam version censored some stuff which introduced bugs. You can revert the patch that introduced the bugs but it's tedious and sometimes doesn't work.

Just fyi getting Codename 47 and Silent Assasin to run on a newer machine takes some work, more than ive had time for anyway. Blood money runs fine. Really wanted it for Silent assassin but for this money it's worth it anyway

These are older games, but they are a lot of fun. The new Hitman "WOA" games (1-2-3) are incredible; so much to do. And a ton of replayability.

My two cents: skip the first one. Blood money is rightly praised, but contacts is underrated, especially if you like a darker atmosphere.

Also an FYI to anyone looking at these, blood money most closely resembles the newer hitman 1-3 now called World of Assassination. The others are more linear level design.

Absolution was free a few months back on Amazon or Epic. Never got into the Hitman games before that but really loved Absolution. I like how you don't get punished for going 'loud,' but just don't get rewarded the same way.

Personally love Absolution even though a lot of the fans don't like it. Would buy it just for that alone if I didn't already have it
