This series confuses me with so many games and DLCs. I played a bit of Hitman III on PS5 and enjoyed it. Would like to purchase the whole series, but all the parts confuse me. I don't want to buy something that will be included in a bundle that I already own. Maybe it's just me. But if anyone can explain this series in Layman terms, I am all ears.

People love these games. I never played the og ones but I think it's similar. If you were a big fan of the og ones I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.

Been waiting on this to go on sale. I thought this was the whole game but Part 1 is basically the first one and you need to buy the dlc to get the other parts.

Plays great. The World of Assassination has a huge amount of content. It's designed for replayability and has many challenges to eliminate targets in unique ways, tons of unlockables including weapons and tools and suits.

This purchase is basically what the first game comprised of, before they moved to the more cumbersome purchase options. It originally sold for $60 when it launched. You're getting a full game experience. The first part of a trilogy.

Hitman 3 was on PC Game Pass i still got it on mine.

The game itself is great, and I understand why the devs scrunched all 3 games into one package, but the purchasing scheme they're using is really off-putting and confusing. It's not well optimized for a single part download either, even just Part 1 is a 76gb download.

Hmmm...my entire Hitman WOA install is 76GB...I guess they just install everything.

Just wondering, if you get the part 1, what's the upgrade to get the rest of the game, or do you just buy the WOA standard?

What's the better deal?

I think I've only played hitman absolution and I like these way better.
These play more like a sandbox. There's some narrative/story events you can trigger, but for the most part you're pretty free on how you handle the mission.

Part 1 alone is worth the 3$ but I think WOA is worth the price@28 for almost all the maps..there are two dlc maps not included, and the freelancer mode.

A big downside is it needs internet even though its a single player game.
