I adore this game, and it's a shame that EA basically destroyed this studio and series, and we never got a true next gen version. Well worth the $3 for the crash events alone.

How does this run on a Steam Deck? I got one from the refurbished OLED deal and am busy buying up games that I've missed over the years so that I can play them once it arrives.

Some recent reviews mention crashing while looking for servers.

Back when I had EA Play and tried it out, it wouldn't even start. Something made it completely incompatible. I looked it up online and it seems like now it's playable, but it might require some small workarounds on how you launch it.

I'd suggest reading through the reviews before picking this one up, I almost bought it last Steam sale and the amount of negative reviews talking about the game crashing or never booting at all really turned me off the idea of playing it.

I have the non-remaster, and my first question was-

DOES THIS INCLUDE BIG SURF ISLAND!!??!?

And the answer is yes, yes it does.

Looking at all the DRM and other service stuff that's required, seems like playing this on console would be less of a headache.

Amazing game, way better than Forza or Gran Turismo. A shame they stopped making Burnout games.

Sketchy controller support. There's a very good chance you will have to use mouse/kb if you buy...
