This is not the full-size annual ornament which, according to the Swarovski site, measures Size: 3 x 5/8 x 2 3/4 inch. I also note this one doesn't have a 2023 tag on it. This is the Annual Edition Little Star Ornament 2023 [swarovski.com].

My spouse has been collecting the annual ornaments since 1992. In recent years, the market has been flooded with fakes, and it has become extremely difficult to tell the difference. Swarovski hasn't helped matters by packaging their ornament is a cheap box made of cereal box cardboard, and lack the felt and foam they had used for years.

It also doesn't help that Swarovski says that you should buy from authorized sellers only, but do not supply a list of them. They say to ask the seller. Yeah, that makes sense.

I'm certainly not saying the item in this deal is fake, just that the ornaments no longer hold any value due to the proliferation of fakes. But this is not the annual ornament as described.

Can't comment on this ornament, but I've bought several watches from them over the years and they were all genuine.

This is the small ornament. It retails for $60 (vs the large one retailing for like $90). There are scams out there where you think you are buying the large one (even has the large dimensions) but then they mail you the small one. I had an Amazon return with just this scam. If you didn't know the difference, then it's easy to be taken in with this size discrepancy.

So many fakes out there you might as well buy the FAKE Temu version and then you at least know it's fake without spending but a couple bucks.

asking for a friend, but what are they actually listed as (or link) on temu. "Swarovski" search or "generic" are not bringing me any results. (Also fyi never used temu before). I see one star that is showing up but it's like $16
