Can be...but if I can step out the back door and blow five inches of powdery snow off the deck in minutes without putting on my big winter coat and socks and big boots knowing I will come back in sweating like a pig after shoveling. My FlexVolt blower will do that

If you have a yard full of leaves inches deep and laying before you is a rake and a FlexVolt blower with three 12 volt batteries, which one are you going to pick up... Oh, I'm 69 years old and have raked many a yard in my life usually involving a lot of cussing...

i thought they didn't ship to california at all due to prop 65. interesting

shipping to NYC is $27. note sure why it's so high for you while you're closer to their warehouse

This 16" model has less motor than the larger Dewalts, but it is the largest model that needs no hand tools to remove and replace/tighten the chain. It is as heavy a chainsaw that I care to handle, at least until the full battery has given up all its going to give out. I suggest that user does not drain the battery totally before you swap batteries. I think it harms the # or possible recharge cycles.

I have a 20V and 60V and basically hate the 20V. The difference is staggering, although most of my opinion is from trying to cut a giant tree. 20V took forever and never got thru. 60V was like WEEEEEE done

Don't get your hopes up. Shows "in stock" until you commit to buy. Signed up, created an account, gave them my phone number, all to unlock savings. Hit buy, Out of Stock. Would have been nice though.

Do you have this 16" 60v or the 20" chainsaw? I didn't think this has much more power than my 20v chainsaw, the newer 20" 60V is the one with all the power. I remember looking into the 16" before I bought my 60cc gas Echo and not being impressed, but the 20" wasn't around yet. I will say that while the Echo has a ton of power, it's nice when you have to make one quick cut to just push a button 😂
