Can you explain more about this app? It seems like they are a bank or something, you make payments? Can you sign up and use it without credit pulls and just pay in full for the gift cards? Is this some kind of special sale for eBay cards right now? Can you buy the ebay cards with credit cards at 2% back and get almost 17% savings?

Here's a link [nymag.com] to an older article but seems relevant still and explains the different "Shop Now, Pay Later" companies and their various payment installation plans.. (similar to a layaway plan but you don't have to wait until the purchase is fully paid off before receiving your goods) I believe they do usually require a credit pull and they charge fees if any payments are late, etc but it's pretty handy if you wanted to split up a larger purchase over a few different payments from my own experience in the past! And yes, you should be able to double dip if you use your cc to pay the payments back? Not certain on this though! Good luck.

Denied because they say my identity could not be verified and that Klarna can't be used with this purchase. This makes no sense because I've used Klarna before and provided them verification codes to my phone and email address and the app says I have $2300 in purchasing power. Now I need to figure out how to cancel Klarna+.

Okay thanks. Not worth it for me then if they do a credit pull. I would rather save a credit pull for a CC sign up with a $500-1000 bonus. And I have no use for splitting payments into small chunks lol.

Someone on Reddit suggested doing the following: Remove your debit cards from saved cards delete the app and reinstall and wait 3 days. Not sure if this'll work for your situation but hope it helps!

If you run into a problem redeeming the gift card, note that Klarna gives you two numbers: a 19 digit code and a 13 digit pin. Ignore the longer code. The pin is your actual gift card number.
