I absolutely loved D3 (I *did* start playing after Reaper of Souls however) and poured hundreds of hours into it... now that was an amazing action RPG I could keep coming back to. Husband has been a Diablo diehard since D2.

We played this Day One and were so disgusted with everything about it (except the graphics are impressive and the music is pretty good). Blizzard's gonna Blizzard: there's no question they released a half-assed product with a terrible endgame, horrible netcode, 100% forced-online play, and missing key features (just how are you supposed to form parties without the ability to message other players?) The game couldn't decide whether it wanted to be an MMORPG-lite or a classic ARPG. Also, I know ARPGs aren't known for their great stories but the story was SO bad, with plot holes you could drive a Mack truck through. I understand they've patched the crap out of it since and fixed a lot of gameplay issues, but we were so disgusted with the overall game quality we uninstalled it and won't be going back. We'll revisit D3... which we can play offline together as long as we want... if we want that classic Diablo APRG fix. I guess this is worth checking out for ten bucks but wouldn't spend a penny more on it.

Have seen lots of drama with the release of this game, but it seems to have been mostly corrected now. For $10 I'll bite.

I figured I would toss it out there as an FYI that there is a really good game that's pretty much a D3 clone called Torch Light. I never played the first one, but 2 is really good and can be had for cheap on digital. I only found out about it this year when it was listed here as part of a big digital sale.

If you've never played it, but you love D3, it's a strong recommend from me, another huge D3 player.

Still haven't tried D4.

Gamestop has to be the worst company on planet Earth. I purchased a GameStop Pro renewal from a deal posted here last month. I just realized that I was charged for the order, but the Pro is not being applied to my account. Did some Google searching. Other people have had this problem too. Apparently customer support takes like a week to reply to emails and they don't have a solution for fixing it. One person said Gamestop wouldn't even give him a refund. This deal had me realizing this when I logged into my Gamestop account and it's telling me I can become a Pro member by paying $25. If others purchased the Pro account last month, double check that it applied to your account.

Other classic Gamestop moments I've dealt with over the years: The Gamestop security breach which exposed everyone's credit card details and I won't forget the rewards point exploit where people drained Gamestop user's accounts that had stored money on it (from trade ins). . It's truly amazing they are still in business.
Here's another thing you'll appreciate...the Gamestop reward points you earn? They expire a year after acquiring regardless of whether you still have your pro status. I had $30 banked from a big purchase that disappeared, their support wouldn't do anything to refund the points. I spoke to the store and they were surprised they expired, must've been a recent change (along with all the other bad Pro changes).

I refuse to give them any more of my business after this recent event, on top of the unannounced pro membership changes made AFTER I renewed (with no option to cancel). Just terrible customer service all around at a corporate level. The local employees were always cool though.

D4 is utter crap. PoE2 is $30 and rough around the edges but has much more potential. F blizzard.

Diablo 3 was shit on release, it took them a year to make it good. This game is fine if you aren't a hardcore gamer anymore, you don't need to have a build guide in order to progress through the game. Local co-op is great too.

I have this game on PC along with the new DLC. If I buy the PS5 copy to play on the couch, I understand it has cross platform progression but the DLC I would have to buy again?
