Haha, geez man, not everything has to be so politically polarizing, I don't even know what gender ideology and identity politics you are referring to in this game, but for God sakes people need to give politics a break, maybe just enjoy playing a video game for a chance without wanting to go to a Trump rally. I have a feeling that a vast majority of people could give two sh*ts about the potential for political commentary in a video game, especially COD, people need to just chill the F out. Honestly if you are that concerned, I would highly recommend finding a meaningful hobby or better yet do yourself a favor and see a therapist. If you are honest and open despite your potential political views or whatever, being honest and open with someone that can guide you towards a happier life is going to better your life far more than complaining about a video game on SlickDeals. Ok rant over, go on with the chlorophyll.
I ordered a copy for pickup at my local gamestop back at 10AM this morning and now its 12 hours later and it's still showing as "preparing for pickup". Most of my orders are ready within 3 hours.
COD died 12 years ago, just like the Spaz-12. RIP Spaz-12 and UMP-45 combo, Greenrun, and lobbies where people could say whatever without getting banned. Requiescat in pace pre COD Ghost days...
This is what happens when you add gender ideology and identity politics to a Call of Duty game - half price a few weeks after release.
Do people actually care this much about political messaging in an FPS game? Like if you're playing against people online, people make political statements all the time lol

probably not kids, but adults tend to be conscious and aware of political ideologies being pushed through culture. especially gamers, they tend to be hyper sensitive to pattern recognition.
then there's streamers, youtubers, content creators, and even elon musk calling out woke games/developers to their hundreds of millions of followers causing western studios to collapse and thousands of people fired for their failed projects.
so yes people do care about political messaging in video games, because to control culture is to control how people think and behave.
Thank you OP! Scored new PS5 disc with coupon discount + tax for only 30.00! I was able to score the Black Myth Deal this morning as well from Woot! There were only two left in stock at my local GameStop, I think the pre-owned version sold out super fast. Gonna pick it up in the morning! Amazing deal! This might be the first brand new COD game that I've bought brand new, and I feel like it's been one of the first in a long line of COD games that feels great to play!! Thank you!!

That's the problem people are either too sensitive or they are too abrasive, the former is much more concerning than the latter. If you feel like a video game is too emotionally distressing to play because of the 'perceived' political or cultural messages, than perhaps you need to take a step back and perhaps, just maybe, you aren't in the right state of mind to be playing a game, a video game... Take a step into the real world my friend, it's not all that bad, make a friend, relationships, whatever, at the end of the day these are just perceptions manifested by a mentally ill country and expounded on by powerful people pushing fearful rhetoric in order to control you behavior by trying to scare you into helplessness.
