Got this on both Blue cash everydays. Lines up well with april current plan expiration, think I can buy then take 90 days to activate, or is it 30 for what Mint sends?

Did this deal the last time around. Had offer on two cards. Placed a $90 order on each card (by changing URL as mentioned above). Got back $45 on each card. Added $180 to my mint account. I have already applied it to upcoming renewal.

This time I only got the offer on one card…. Now I just have to decide if I want to add another $90 to the account for my 2026 renewal.

For folks on renewals -- I've found their retention offers to be the best. Worried about stocking up on credits on my account and then them not offering a nice retention offer. Right now, I'm paying around $12/mo for a 1-yr, 15GB plan.

Anyone know if I add the $90 to the wallet will trigger this cashback
It'll. I did that a few months ago and the offer got triggered.

Some trickery is needed though to change the URL of adding money to the wallet.

I'm on T-mobile. Can I buy Minternational passes and add eSim on my phone as a data only plan or I've to be on Mint as my main plan? TIA.

Is it possible to split payment by two amex cards? $180-45-45 =$90

So I have $105 referral balance left and my free 12 month plan ending on December 20th. I have to make a decision switch over to 6 month plan or use this offer and select 12 month plan. Get referral money next year to add with $15 left over. Do I have a mint website to reload for $90 bucks?

It should. I have done many deals like this from Amex and all Amex will see is a transaction from Mint in this case. I do not think there way to tell if you are buying a phone, plan or accessories. If someone already used the deal and can post a screen capture of the transaction will help confirm this. BTW, this is based on prior purchases I made at Under Armour, Asics, etc. All with cash back from Amex.

I get this plan. Last time I used this deal I simply added 90 to the account by changing the 20 in the url to 90 x 2. Got 45 off each one, worked out nicely.

Can you share more detail on how to get their retention offer? Thanks

Wouldn't it be cheaper to keep buying the rotating 50%off 3 month mint sales at best buy/target?
(Yes, you get a new phone# every time)
For renewal the lowest I have right now is the 6-month 5gb plan -- total with tax/fees is $133. So after the $45 credit it's $14.67 a month.

Lowest new customer offer I see is the 3-month Mint offer through Amazon at $30, with no other fees...so $10 a month, but have to port out and back in. We keep the same number each time but port out for a few days (or hours) to a $5 plan...so I guess that's closer to $12 a month. Might be worth it to spend the extra $2.67 a month to have it all set without having to port for a few months.

I don't think I'll go that route though, lol. Only because of a Total Wireless offer on Chase cc of 25% cash back, plus cash back site giving 15%. So we'll port out to that for a month, it includes int'l roaming for this month's trip, and a streaming service coming in around $19 total for the month.

Then we'll go back to Mint before this offer expires at the end of January and do one of the 12-month plans if they're still half off. That way we meet the $90 minimum to trigger AMEX, and still be under $15 a month on the Unlimited.

EDIT:

I called in for my account number (chat wouldn't load) and ended up getting an offer to pay $160 for a year w/15gb. After tax, fees and the AMEX discount it worked out to $11 a month so I stuck with. Might still do one month with the Total deal for traveling and just switch between SIMs.
By the way, he started at a higher number on the offer but ended up coming down another $40. Only way to go lower than that was to do 5gb plan which averaged out to $7 a month. Considering this is our son's plan who'll move on campus next year I went with the higher data plan since he'll be out and about more after graduating.
