Showed up on my Amex this morning, Looks like its for purchase of a wireless plan. YMMV. Terms below.
Offer Terms:
Earn a one-time $45 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single purchase of a wireless plan for a total of $90 or more online at mintmobile.com by 1/31/2025.
Qualifying Purchases
Offer valid for purchase of a wireless plan made online only at US website mintmobile.com or through the Mint Mobile app. Excludes device purchases. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas. Please note, that unless you notify Mint Mobile that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your plan will automatically renew for another plan period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that Mint Mobile will collect the then-applicable plan fee and any taxes by charging a credit card Mint Mobile has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.

thanks!
But if you edit the URL to "90" it bypasses the wallet options and adds $85 + recovery fee. That should get you to qualify on your AMEX.

If so, my current plan will renew after the expiration of the amex offer. There's probably no way for me to take advantage of the amex offer if I just want the normal phone service?

Why some people don't qualify is unknown.
