Great discount.

The bikes are a premium. Looks great but shocking cost. Especially if kids may outgrow them.

Are there other brands that are better than big box store bikes but not as costly?

Anyone have experience with these bikes? Are they worth the premium?

Tough to get bikes for kids that remain relevant after 2-3 years.

Just went through the kid bike comparison for our 4yo. We ultimately settled on a Guardian bike over Woom. They weigh a little more but are a much better value IMO. Our kid learned in a few sessions and loves the bike. The Surestop braking they have has been great! If the price was the same we'd likely have bought the Woom due to the rave reviews and being the lightest.

Sammy post. Don't think there was ever a 36% discount.20% is quite regular.

I have two bikes. Expensive but they are the best.

Code doesn't work on helmets.

If you've got multiple kids and buy with the intention of handing them down, you can get 4-8 years out of each bike depending on how many kids and how fast they grow. Woom bikes seem to hold their value their best, I still see 5+ year old models sell for 60-80% of the new price on FB marketplace so you could possibly bring the cost down to under $50/year if you take care of it and resell it when finished. If your kids are on the heavier side for their height/age, you can probably get away with some cheaper heavier bikes but if they're on the lighter side I'd go with a woom if they ride it multiple times a week. The bike should ideally weigh 30-40% of the riders weight which is basically impossible to achieve with big box store bikes.

If you go the LBS route, I would try to find one in your area that offers lifetime tune ups which can be a $60-80/year value).
