I bought a 6th 12.9 ipad pro with cellular for like 600 but gave it to my 18 year son bcoz it just didn't make sense.... Neither a laptop or a usable tablet. It's more like a awkward tablet but a uncomfortable laptop.
Genuinely thinking what people use for bcoz these are heavy with sub standard keyboard cases
After I bought that ipad pro, I realized that I should never trust any reviewers unless I use it myself.. Or SD folks for that matter..LOL
I would buy thr discontinued Lenovo tab extreme 14 inch which has a real KB and this one has a soft useless KB for real work...
I use my Tab S7+ for things like Google Sheets (for work and book keeping), 3D modeling, photo making and editing and the usual videos and intensive games (streaming my PS5 to such a large screen on the go is nice).
Having split screen apps on such a large screen means I can multitask on the go pretty nicely too.
Not that an iPad doesn't offer similar, but it's not as intuitive imo. Though tablets just aren't for everyone. I know plenty of people that prefer their phone and smaller screen, though they aren't really doing anything that needs a bigger screen.

I just felt it's some giant dumb OS tablet.
7 years of update! Not sure, I doubt it, probably for their cell phones.
I love the tablet, no doubt, but with the money I paid for it vs its productivity and usage, I don't know if I need a tablet anymore.
I'll never give up paper entirely and still prefer it (I've collected about 200 linear feet of scores/sheets), but when a student of mine wants to work on a song I don't have, the digital option saves me paper and toner.

They are much more productive and fun. I will sale my SS Tab S9.
The iPad Air m2 is almost 50% more powerful for 200$ less
The few 'top tier products' I have are noticeably slow when used along side Apple or Microsoft.

I am planning to buy one of these in January. If I order now, I risk the item coming when I will be on vacation.
I can not talk about the Lenovo but the iplay 60... has almost no bloatware, pure OS, nothing to slow you down... unlike Samsung which has a TON OF BLOATWARE. I also prefer this form factor (8.4" or 8.8"). And the Lenovo also has desktop mode, so you can always use it with a monitor.
And than you for the spelling lesson... I am a pretty bad speller.

But it is SnapDragon and others that make the CPU. The goodnews is the newest CPU's are closing the gap between apple and android. Also Apple uses the same CPU for laptop/desktop and tablet.
I personally like to download Nintendo switch games and play them through a emulator... try doing this with apple. You can do this with android, pc and Linux.
Lastly... I will agree that apple tablets are THE BEST VALUE... but then you lock yourself into their ecosystem and everything else they make is a RIP OFF, IMHO and that is why I am ANTI APPLE.
