If you actually read the original post (most people would do this, surprisingly..) as there's specific instructions on how to obtain this tablet. Your questions are answered there.
Sorry, I just gotta know… what's your excuse for not reading the OP?

I have two Metro accounts/phones and only was able to order one tablet. And even with that one purchase, I got the contact us message so I had to call in to get that ordered. Every subsequent order attempt fails even with Metro reps trying to place the order for me. I see each $20 charge attempt and an immediate credit. Screaming deal for $20 but I gave up trying for more (after trying many times to buy a second tablet). With the cost of just some time, you might as well call in and see if the reps are able to place a second order for you; there's really nothing to lose.
I was getting the Contact Us message until I changed the phone number on the checkout page to my phone number that is associated with the credit card billing. After that, I was able to place the 2nd Order for the Samsung tablet. Metro by default auto-populates this field with your new Metro number so the charge is probably getting rejected by the credit card company for incorrect billing info.

Thank you for this! It's not worth anything but I gave you a rep. I just gave this a shot on my Metro phone line that was due to expire in two days and was able to order this tablet online. It did make me verify my identity with a few questions but it went through.

Got 1 Edge and 1 tablet.
Samsung A9 tablet is slow and screen is not as good as Edge. Pros is big screen.
Motorola Edge is much faster and screen is better, sound is also better.
What Edge

Metro is selling Moto Edge 2024 for free if you buy a month of their $75 plan: https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/c...-edge-2024
It's a pretty good midrange phone. I got it from a similar deal with Total by Verizon - they unlock it after 60 days unlike Metro which only unlocks after a year.

Don't know if they are still available, but TMO BIZ customers could get unlimited tablet SIM for $10/mon. I have two of them. This reply is written on a Samsung TMO tablet. actually, better yet, the SIMs are BYOD as I have one in a cell router.

Do tablets come locked to network? I want to get it to gift it to a relative overseas to use with a data only sim.
Would it work?

For TMO, you would get bill credits for 2 years. They offer it all the time. 🤣
