Camel says avg price since 2021 has been $17.04.

It may not be a deal to some, but it is the lowest sold price on Amazon for the past 3-1/2 years.

The plastic on these things deteriorate so fast and then you're left with a letter opener

So, to the couple of comments of these dulling too fast, handles falling apart, etc.... unfortunately, as with many things on Amazon, there are fakes, and there's a high chance of these. Check the hinge. If there's no screw just all plastic at the pivot point, they're fake. The real ones have a metal screw and overall just feel better/high quality. The colors are off, too, with the fake ones that are more orange on the inside instead of the real ones that are more yellowish.

I have a pair of these scissors for a few years now and it's still in excellent condition. I mostly use it to open plastic paper and cardboard. I'd want to buy more but I'm also scared of fakes

I got one and it's great. So far the "soft handle" haven't turned into a sticky mess like all "soft plastic" does.

ETA. the only way to fix soft plastic sticky mess is to scrub it off with acetone (nail polish remover)

Had a couple of these and the handle broke off which made me realize titanium anything is useless if the handle is no different than any other cheaper scissor.

Just curious how you mean to do this? Mine from a previous deal have the plastic cap with the W like the picture here shows.

I bought a pair of these scissors at my local officemax that was going out of business. I didn't realize how nice a pair of scissors could be. My other store brand ones (staples) and dollar tree scissors are crap in comparison

Regular isopropyl alcohol also works, and is generally a little less harsh than acetone.

The 2-Pack was $3.00 at one point. I got 4 of these around the house and pretty happy with the quality.

Spend a few bucks more and get scissors from your hardware store. The Milwaukee scissors I have outlast these by a long shot.
