YouTube Premium also comes with music streaming. After trying it out for a month, it was a no brainer at its price point and ended my Spotify subscription

You Tube has all new 'tools and methods and checks' to find out of if you really are 'new subscriber' or not.
Was hoping YouTube Premium would run a $99 a year annual special on BFriday or CyperM. Nope. Cant afford $140 a year.

YouTube Premium is the best subscription I have and I use a PiHole on my network. Money goes to creators I care about and I get to watch YouTube on TVs which has been our families main source of viewing. Kids also get to download videos for trips.

The double standard people have with it is insane. People are ok with paying for Spotify or Apple Music but not YouTube Premium that also comes with fantastic YouTube Music. I didn't get it.

Fun Fact - YouTube Music has lot more music available than Apple Music. I have both. I Keep Apple Music for the 24/96 and 24/192 albums …sounds phenomenal on my discrete high end speakers. Stopped buying audiophile discs ($25 a pop) after subscribing to Apple Music
But YT Music allows me to watch live recordings of large classical orchestras (sometimes in 4K glory) with no ads.

The ads are increasing to cover reduced ad growth in search. Since they own top 2 search engines in world if one gets less traffic, the other gets more ads

I watch YT a lot in my spare time… the ads were driving me crazy. Was worth the money for premium however the price keeps going up…

It was nice signing up for this a few years while I was on travel, it cost me 2 usd a month until they finally caught on this month. Benefits were really great but not the worth the cost of a full subscription service.
