My neighbor does this. Goes with a relative, his relative buys what he wants. Then they Checkout. Then go back in and buys what he wants. Your whole family can shop there on one card.

a couple of months ago, I went to a Yankees game and the stadium was basically sold out on a weekday afternoon. surprised so many people didn't need to work. I was actually visiting NY for work and only had meetings during the mornings.

I didn't know this but I downloaded the app right after I created my account and redeemed the membership. Then I opened the app, it asked to verify my identity, and it asked a few questions that is like only the identity protection website asks like your car color, which street you lived on etc then verified. Then after that I see the account page next to my costco ID card there's a green "verified" marked there. I am not sure if it is a must do but seems like I had to do that if I want to use the app.
