first question people should be asking is do these last longer then a couple of months like the govee that take a shit before the first year is up.

There's really no way to know without trying them - but odds are good that the light manufacturer is the same as Govee - they just put their own firmware in the controller.

If you are in an environment with a temperature range of 100 degrees or greater, these will probably not work in 2 years...Chicago, NY, etc. go from 0-100F through the course of a year. LA, Miami, Atlanta, etc. have tighter ranges and don't impact these low-voltage devices as strongly.
