Called 833-428-1765 and added 2 lines with BOGO offer. $10 for the first line and 2nd one is free. Took 2 iphone 16s by trading 2 iphone 13s. Received $830 credit on each trade in. And I'll be receiving two $75 costco cash cards after 90 days. Great deal for me, thanks OP.
Btw, costco B&M said I don't qualify for this offer. |
THANK YOU!!
I went to my local costco and it was miserable. No promo, BOGO was on hold, no costco cash card on my plan. Couldnt help me even though I verified my plan was qualified. Went home, read this, called and added 2 lines with BOGO. It was $15 first line and 2nd one was free, but with autodebit, they reduced it to $10. Took 1 phone 16 pro and traded in a Galaxy S9 that I got on ebay for $100, and got $830 credit - $30 trade in and $800 in 24 montly credits. The phone was $1099 and $45.79 monthly so $12.46 monthly plus $10 for 2 lines. Plus one $75 costco card which should offset the monthly line charge until I can cancel. So its a reasonably good offer for a phone 16 pro 256GB for $500 (tax included, ebay trade in cost included - half off). |

As I state before, tweaking your grandfather plan is only for the detail oriented. Changes cannot be undone, so know everything about your plan, lines, EIPs, RDCs, promotions, etc before you start. It's not hard, just risky if you just wing it.

Also contact tmobile on Twitter or Facebook. They will help
They just need the screenshot of the imei. Physical phone not needed.

No problem! I remember back then a few Tmobile reps were adamant that if I went the Apple financed trade in route, the phone would be locked still lol. Pushing to get it done with them.
I'm planning to get the deal in 2 days but probably will just go it at Tmobile this time to get the trade in to them and new phones same day. Still debating whether to trade in my backup 13 mini or get a cheaper 12 to trade in at 200
They agent in the chat online also gave me extra $200 gift credit for each number, and waived the activation fee ($35 each). Total of $940 extra bonus.
The plan that accepted the trade and the deal was the cheapest unlimited one, the Welcome Unlimited and the total cost for my four lines is $120 per month plus taxes. This is $30 per month per line, same as the cheapest plan from a low cost network provider such as visible, mint, etc.
The down payment was only the phones taxes, no extra fees, etc.
The only down side is the contract length of 3 years, instead of 2 years from the other companies. But when placing all the numbers in a spreadsheet and comparing to all other options such as T-Mobile and att, the Verizon my plan is by far better in the long run.
If we would buy the iPhones in the Apple Store, at full price, without discount since the trades would be "disposal garbage", the Verizon plan would be a total of $15 per month for all the 4 lines during the 36 months, total cost of $480 for 36 months of 4 lines in an unlimited plan.
So I went for Verizon and I would suggest you to do the same.
