I went to my local costco and it was miserable. No promo, BOGO was on hold, no costco cash card on my plan. Couldnt help me even though I verified my plan was qualified. Went home, read this, called and added 2 lines with BOGO. It was $15 first line and 2nd one was free, but with autodebit, they reduced it to $10. Took 1 phone 16 pro and traded in a Galaxy S9 that I got on ebay for $100, and got $830 credit - $30 trade in and $800 in 24 montly credits. The phone was $1099 and $45.79 monthly so $12.46 monthly plus $10 for 2 lines. Plus one $75 costco card which should offset the monthly line charge until I can cancel. So its a reasonably good offer for a phone 16 pro 256GB for $500 (tax included, ebay trade in cost included - half off). |

Newline+tradein is good for one new device. Since, I need 2 new devices, went with BOGO promotion and stack it with trade-in promo. So, either $2000 credit for two new devices or $1000 credit for one new device. But, the line cost is same (one line or two lines) as is it BOGO promo.

Go5G+ is their standard offering, nothing special about that price. But you are eligible for BOGO lines and other promotions. If you are going this route, talk to a rep and get their insider code for signing up so you can at least get 20% off on your plan.

So I don't get the point to stack BOGO and newlines+trade-in promotions. Can someone help?

Thank you. But I am still confused. The newlines+trade in need two lines and pay two lines. For BOGO, you get free one line, what the meaning of free one line, do you need pay anything for the free line? I think I didn't get the meaning of free one line.

This month, they even claimed that my trade-in phone was broken, more than six months after my refund request. Initially, they refused to refund me, but after I asked to speak to a manager, they finally admitted that the iPhone I sent in was working and refunded me for this month's equipment fee. I was assured that I would no longer receive this bill, but I think I should call them again next month since they have never been honest about their promises.
Now I think I got it. BOGO just pay one line if you don't really need a new line (or two) to get the deal. (Plus potential gift cards from Costco), Am I right ?

Yes, I got it. I'm on unlimited kickstarter grandfathered plan. I am actually doing new line+trade-in promotion for two new phones/lines. I have done it though I can cancel it this week. But I'm not sure if I'm eligible to have BOGO in Costco. That would be really nice way to do so.
