Duracells leak almost 95% of the time for me.

They havent been good in like 10 years.

I've had many devices destroyed by Duracell batteries, by leaks or expansion.

Energizer has been the best by far for many years. Duracell indeed leak and anything you leave them in for a significant amount of time good luck.

The difference in alkaline batteries capacity is not so great that the extra charge for Duracell would be worth it.

what is difference for new power boost tech?

I agreed this brand is always leaking even some new and unused still in package but stay for a while.
Just wondering how come the company never think about to solve or how come other brand no so much leaking problem. Batttery is not new tech product, no such special tech, isn't it?

Friends don't let Friends buy perma-leaky Duracells. Nearly every bulk pack of AA and some AAA have some leaky batteries, even when not installed and well before the supposed Best By date. A number of electronic items completely ruined by acid until I wisened up. I wonder if "Power Boost Ingredients" means the acid will just corrode more/faster? Smilie

Switched to Energizer-brand usually on sale around this season at Home Depot and so far zero leaks for their regular alkaline (non-Lithium) AA's.
