Wondering if Best Buy will price match 🤔
I just bought 2 Era 300, but I don't like them for music. They sound incredible for movies.
If you have the white Era 300s, I'll buy them off you for cheap. I think they sound great for both. Had mine has stereo pair for music, but got the Arc ultra so now they are rears.
Looking to put two more Era 300s in front with soundbar to reinforce sound (I know, I'm breaking the rules, oh well). Currently using Fivrs in that role, but they don't match color-wise and my wife, well you know …
I have these stereo paired in one room and they're phenomenal.
Agreed. I have 8 Sonos products and a stereo pair of Fives is the best of all the products. I would get these, as the newer products are not always better sounding for MUSIC lovers.
Up until recently when Sonos ruined their app, I consistently expanded our Sonos speakers. However, I no longer want to put all of our eggs in one basket. All it takes is a bad app release or the company going out of business for all of the speakers to be worthless.
Recently i picked up a Fosi Blutooth amp and a few really nice speakers for cheaper than a couple of play 1s and they blow them out of the water. It's been an eye opening experience.

That causes all speakers suddenly can not play anymore or unstable to play anything for 2 months.
Owning a speaker, you would expect it could play anytime without worry any future change, which Sonos is not transparent to users.
I would just leave Sonos product if you haven't had one.

That said, you could amAirplay content from an Apple TV to them, but not really home theater at that point.
