Etsy used to be for the hand crafter, but they're squeezing out the little guy by charging exorbitant fees, punishing sellers for not offering things like free or heavily discounted shipping (after also taking a percentage of the shipping cost in fees), and allowing cheap factory made chinese goods to flood their listings and drown out the real makers. I will never buy on Etsy due to this. It sucks that individual makers get the shaft, but I won't support Etsy's profit first business model while riding high on the backs of makers that made it a thing in the first place.

Haven't been on Etsy in a long time. I see why they are hurting, torrent of cheap tacky Temu garbage. Thought it was supposed to be hand made crafts?

Thank you for the code. It works in my Esty account. I recently got a custom barefoot boots made for my feet measurements from a shoe maker in Turkey through Etsy. I have wanted to get a pair of tall boots from them. I think this is a sign. $20 off is awesome.

I never had an Etsy account before; I just created one. None of the coupons work in the app (GETAPP10; GETAPP50). Do you think this is only for existing customers? If I purchase something without a coupon, will I qualify for the coupon? Have the Amex offer as well

I believe it's just for targeted customers. You could try creating a new account on your computer, wait a day or so, then download the app and see if that works? 🤷 ♂️

Someone I knew couldn't get the coupon to work yesterday (worked for me). They tried using a VPN, a new account, and a different device with no luck. However, after waiting about 24 hours and checking back, it suddenly worked with no changes. Anyone know what happened?

It's actually far more sinister than this. They've implemented an AI algorithm to filter out some of the factory made junk which has made collateral damage of legitimate handmade shops like my own. Their seller support is so pitiful that there is no practical way to fix their erroneous enforcement actions, so I've been shut down for many months this year despite complying fully with all handmade policies, having Star Seller metrics & no cases against my shop. After selling on Etsy for a decade with thousands of sales I can't get a human agent on their end to review and reinstate my business. Ridiculous for a company whose slogan is "Keeping Commerce Human." It's been a catastrophe for our family.

I just bought something right now and used the code, it worked. There are different area of the shopping cart where you enter a coupon code, this is an Etsy coupon code, which is a field that is near the bottom, that is where you enter the code.
I bought a couple of different sized pet wigs, blonde. Ended up saying me about $19. Good deal.
