You have to give the dealership your info it gave you when registering. The Code and Pin and then afterwards Chevy will email it to you. The promotion in no way harms the dealership itself. Apart from maybe taking up some guys time if he wants to go with you.

I only replied to a text from someone at the dealership saying I wasn't interested in buying a Chevy EV right now and included the offer code and pin. They passed the info to a salesperson who entered the info. That's it.

It has instructions at the bottom of the email for how they validate the test drive. Salesperson did that when I asked.

I did that but still got a test drive of a $100k truck. I do own an ev so somewhat interested but zero chance of buying a new vehicle now and said as much. About 30 minutes of waiting, then 30 minutes of driving/etc, overall almost exactly an hour, not too bad.

Is $100 worth getting bombarded with sales calls and emails about a car you have no intention of buying? I'm leaning towards no.

After test drive and dealer submission of the code and pin, got an email:

After filling out the offer page I got a text from a sales guy and he basically said he'd just give me the gift card after providing the offer code and PIN. Easy $100

That's why you use alternative contact information Wink. And you can easily block/unsubscribe emails/calls/texts nowadays. But hey, maybe $100 comes easy for you so I wouldn't blame you.

Anyways... just got back. I took the printed email. Told the receptionist i got a promotion to test drive a vehicle. I was assigned a salesman and i told him the same. I was in and out in about 30min. No pressure at all. Already got an email confirmation from Chevy that ill be getting my $100. Did this all during my lunch break. Not as easy as some of yall who got it instantly but i cant complain. Thanks OP! worship
