Very tempted to get this over the WH-1000XM4 as a gift for someone who could use Bluetooth headphones for class and work calls. Is this a bad call?
They don't seem much much different except for the price. I myself use Bose QC and know that having a great set of headphones that work for everything with multi-device pairing is a massive time savers and reducer of headaches moving from calls to class to just listening around the house.
I've heard that Sony makes some of the best and thought another brand/color may help us keep them straight. We had this issues with other items in the past.
Bought these from Amazon a couple weeks ago and got shot down for a price adjustment. Hit or miss with Amazon reps. Screw Amazon. Sent them back and bought them at Target with 5% red card discount.

Been looking at these for a while now but I'm really hesitant because all of Sony's current lineup of headphones all suffer from the plastic hinge breaking.
Might just try to price match to Best Buy and pay a little extra for the geek squad warranty just for peace of mind.

"For most people, the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless are better than the Sony ULT WEAR Wireless, though it depends on your needs. While both are bassy, the WH-1000XM4 are a bit more even in the mid-treble, which makes it easier to make out the details in your music. They're also capable of blocking more environmental noise. On the other hand, the ULT WEAR have a better microphone that handles noise better, alongside a few more hours of battery life."
