I've owned the first gen Instinct Solar, but the solar charging turns out to be a non factor in most scenarios. I'm eyeing the non-solar instinct 3 next. Instinct 2 is pretty solid too.

Owned it for 3 years and 2 weeks. It didn't die but the battery would show 50% and the watch would shut down.

I got the Enduro3 now. Way more expensive but a nice upgrade.

If you value not having to charge your watch once a week, notification msgs, step count and heart rate, this is a slam dunk. I really loved this watch.

The bad: you can't change the battery. I have no way to fix this watch, so upgraded.
