The Lowes in Gainesville, FL had a bunch @ $46.92 but my local store was all $99. Made the trip, as there was also something else they had in stock that my local Lowes didn't.

Yay, most welcome! Happy to hear. While I thought I searched it before posting I didn't think I saw it (maybe because I usually search "shop vac"). I just noticed that this same model went frontpage a month ago at $52.95. Hopefully it gains some traction and helps some more people, be it for personal use or for gifts. Get a great deal on a gift that sucks!

Check stock nearby and if you see a high quantity that price is probably the clearance. For example I saw 12 in stock about 20 minutes away, prices at 45. My local store only has one in stock .. 85 bucks

Worst Lowe's (Murphy NC) experience I've ever dealt with! Probably the lousiest customer service of ANY retailer in my entire 66 years. They SUCK!!!
