Is that the same as saying:

"I've always been able to remove one with a flathead screwdriver"?

Neat concept, but I've never been unable to remove one with a flathead screwdriver.

Yeah, they're "Pittsburgh" (lowest tier) but they work just fine and have a lifetime warranty

Good tool if you remove a lot of trim panels and dash panels. Can also work for removing harness connector ends on sensors etc.. like the Lisle 37160 Disconnect Pliers. Those disconnect pliers are a time saver for fighting with gunked up plug ends. The next best tool for pulling apart trim is Blue Point Pbft10 Metal Fabrication Thin Door Panel Trim Pry Tool.

By the look of the color on the handle it basically looks like a Lisle rebrand.

Very nice to have kind of tool. I have the HF version, and use it to quickly pop off push pins when I do oil changes.

Bought them a month ago and returned - they did not align. Regular price was slightly below $10. Now shows $20+.

These look a lot like bike chain master link removal pliers, so if you already have a pair of those you might want to see if they work for this too.

Does nobody here know about AliExpress or is it just an instant ban to post links?

People want to virtue signal about not supporting china's labor exploitation. Irony is that most of the stuff posted on this site is made in china. They just hate people pointing that out.

Not always.

Have had a couple I probably should have used a specialized tool for, as the head was super thin material and had to drill it out.

And when they don't come off with a screwdriver, they are a major PITA.

Can this be used to remove finishing nails that did not get in completely?

I like the Japanese JR60 plier more as you can restrict the close position. But this one costs much less.
