What's weird is, you can check his history, I only looked at a few but he seems completely normal, and if anything, tech savvy enough. Figured he would be a nutbar other places.

But nope, he woke up and chose to talk about next gen passive screen chargers that absorb light. That was just, on his agenda today. His next post will probably be normal. The duality of man everybody

I thought one of these would be gimmicky and silly, but it's really not. (Okay, some of the features are like the AI stuff). But regardless, this consolidated a bunch of high power GaN bricks on my desk into one, and looks great doing it. One for my work laptop, one for my school laptop, one for my phone. A lot better than the mess of bricks I had before.

I've had it for a week, and its barely warmer than your phone screen after its been on for an extended time.

This does get a bit hot when charging over 100w for a long time. Not so hot you're afraid to touch it, but hotter than makes me feel comfortable. The knob is a good idea. It lets you prioritize a particular port if the automated distribution isn't what you want.

Don't these "primes" from Anker have to be connected to interwebs to be able to operated?

I bought one of these during last sale. Really like the information it provides on draw (both on screen and in the app). Was easy to connect to my network and with 6 connections; with a Mac Air ; still stays under 1/2 capacity! Also like the idea of prioritization on ports if I need it. What I don't like is app logs you out after X number of days! Hope they allow for Face ID future.

For remote app features yes, but you can use the knob to do everything without connecting to the net. You can also use Bluetooth for the app as well, some app features are wifi only.

This is STILL too much to pay for a 140w charger. Now, if it could actually output a full 240w to one port then it would be a slick deal.

Are you forgetting that this is a multi device charger? It's not like it only charges one device at a time.

What similar chargers do you know of that are cheaper?

I appreciate that they're up front on which features require their app/wifi connection. I don't want Anker to connect to either of those in my home, and it looks like the most important functionality doesn't need it.
