I bought this TV a month ago as a floor model from Costco for $900. I had ordered the 77" LG C3 cyber Monday from Bestbuy but cancelled it after seeing this. This is the best tv I've ever owned. Mini LED is so bright in my den with a lot of natural light. No risk of burn in. Blacks are super black, very little blooming. Overall super impressed with this tv. Use my Apple TV with it and picked up the Sony AT5000 soundbar which connects to the tv and uses TV speakers as center channels. I'd buy it at this price no question. Sonys upscaling is just unrivaled. To think I used to be happy with my cheap hisense picture!

Still need a TV after the Walmart Sony X90L Black Friday fiasco. Is this a good deal?

Edit: based on the last time this was posted, this doesn't seem that much of a deal https://slickdeals.net/f/17955021-sony-75-bravia-xr-x93l-4k-mini-led-hdr-smart-google-tv-xr75x93l-new-2023-model-1498-00-walmart?utm_term=10522695&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=share-sheet&utm_source=mobile_web&utm_content=deal

Personally, I had ordered the X90L from Costco 2 weeks ago and done a late Dec delivery for it. The reason I didn't buy the X93L from the get go, was that I felt I couldn't take full advantage of the main benefits of the X93L over the X90L. We like to have a dark room and have sensitive eyes so we felt the extra brightness of the X93L was wasted on us + didn't need the wider viewing angle.
But now at $1299 w/ warranty vs $1398 without warranty, the difference is making me reconsider the X93L

I too am still recovering from that fiasco. Unbelievable that the post was from a Slickdeals staff member too.
This deal is ok, as you pointed out it's $100 less than a fairly popular recent deal. If Sony was smart they would have seen how much attention that fake deal got and give us something close to that.

The $1299 w/ warranty is in reference to the 75X90L @ Costco.

Rtings rates this tv MUCH better than the SONY 900F 75" I bought for $1800 a few years ago. My 900F is a beautiful TV - so if you're on the fence for an LED - this is a steal for $1400.

Got the 85" from the recent Best Buy deal. For those in the market this is a great price on a great TV.

Dont think twice between x90L and x93L. Just go for it with x93L. I just got it a week ago and it is awesome. You can easily dial down/up the brightness per your wish with a 2 clicks on the remote.

Did you bother getting warranty? I also read some concerns about the X93L not having the XR Clear feature

Shipping weight is probably close to it. It's heavy. Tv is around 95lbs and they pack the heck out of it. I was surprised how heavy the packaging was.

I picked this up display model at Costco a week ago for $900 and am very impressed. I had ordered the 77 C3 from Bestbuy but cancelled it when I could get this with 5 year warranty for half the price. The contrast isn't quite as good as an OLED but tbh it's 90% there and unless side by side I hardly notice. Very little blooming, super bright, and Sonys upscaling is unmatched. I got a Sony at-5000 open box soundbar on eBay which pairs using tv as center speakers and we have been blown away with the setup.
