Yoga slim 7x is slimmer, lighter(2.8 vs 3.2 lbs), much better screen, and better build quality IMO. I played with both at Best Buy/Costco respectively.

The slim 7i is still a great machine and it was between it and the Yoga Slim 7x for my wife. In the end the much better screen, portability, and more premium feel were the deciding factor over 32GB RAM. With teacher discount and cashback the Yoga Slim 7x was ~$765 OTD direct.

I couldn't use them side by side to compare as they were at different stores, but the size difference wasn't noticeable.

Lol nope. Not worth the energy when I realized the Ryzens seem to be the recommended processors over Intel for multicore tasks

I'm sure it's been heard before but these processors still have lots of space to grow. I have the galaxy book edge, and the compatability is definitely not there if you want to do basically anything that needs an obscure program. Emulation is great though and for general web use it's a pretty flawless machine with amazing battery life.
