Village is brilliant. Not as dark as 7 but in a good way. Very "resident evil" over the top and doesn't take itself so seriously. It continues the story from 7 so you sort of need to play that one first. Not too bad overall but it helps for the culmination and ending.

I agree with this. Village feels like an extension of Resident Evil 7, starting exactly where 7 ended and providing the closure you'd expect from the conclusion of its story.

I played RE Village once. Once. Seriously as a person who has been playing RE since the 90s game was pretty fun. But two parts scared me enough to only play once. DLC included whoever designed those levels needs a raise.

Anyone have firsthand experience with the current state of PCVR related to any of the RE titles on sale here? Would be interested in hearing thoughts if so.

Anyone know if any of these ResidentbEvil titles have native, as in not modded, VR support?

How does this compare to the humble bundle they had a few months ago of resident evil games?

A lot of the newer games have VR mods. Obviously not as good as the PSVR official versions which is where they should be played (for 4 and Village at least).

Wondering if I should pick up 0, 5 and 6 or just wait for the remakes. Edit: They are the same price on PSN (most of them anyway). Got all three since I have a bunch of PSN credit.

Not on PC. Some have psvr support. And the original RE4 is on quest. For pc you'll have to mod.

Has anyone played the Steam versions of the Revelations games or know if they segment content out as much as the Xbox store does? Want to avoid a pay to install and play 1-2 episodes and then pay again to finish the story bait and switch

0 and 5 get a lot of hate, but I really like them. 0 has a unique feel story-wise, and 5 is just fun action. I haven't played 6, but you can get them all for a song.

I bought them all when they launched (got a GameCube specifically for 0 and REmake). I'm just talking about buying them again since I don't have them anymore. I like 5, don't love 0 and 6 even though they have their moments.

I wish I had gotten the humble bundle from last year. Does anyone know if that would happen again or would it be best to buy these individually? I do already own some of them but I don't want to buy them and then all of a sudden I see a bundle deal happening lol.

The very first game traumatized me. I stopped playing and have never touched another RE again since.
